Mixtape Madness Again

It's time for another mixtape post, since these mixes are so tasty, that I cannot resist to post all of them. Also they cover up 3 styles - nu-disco, house and electro - so I really hope that everyone will find something really sexy for his or her taste. Let's do this!

I start out with the big business here, and it is none else than The Magician! Its already his 19th Magic Tape, but the quality keeps getting higher and higher. Unfortunately there's no tracklist, but if you want to check out what is really hip nowadays, when it comes to melodic nu-disco, this is for you.

Staying with the slower beats, the Los Angeles-based Plastic Plates started to grow on me. They made remix for the forementioned Magician last Autumn, out on Kitsune which was really impressing and this 1-hour set is gorgeous aswell. Thank God, it has a tracklist so I can hunt these beauties down one after another.
Tensnake - Need Your Lovin (Tiger & Woods Remix)
Plastic Plates - Toys
The Rapture - Sail Away (Cut Copy Remix)
Todd Terje - Inspector Norse
Shindu - All In My Fridge (Cosmonauts Remix)
James Curd - Moon
Jonas Rathsman - Feeling You
Carte Blanche feat. Alexis Taylor - With You
Punks Jump Up - Get Down (Special Cccrash Mixxx)
Appaloosa - Patchwork (ATTAR! Remix)
Sneaky Sound System - Always By Your Side (Nicolas Jaar "Big" Version)

And now off to some house beats. I've been following Swedish Mikael Weermets work recently, and its quite impressing aswell. Countless mashups, bootlegs, re-edits and some really fine mixtapes he's got under his belt, and this mix for The Space Podcast is no exception. Full of acapellas, there's not a single boring minute in this mix. Check it out!

Also, the Lunde Bros. becoming residents here on BPB. With releases on labels like Joia, and these weekly 1-hour mixtapes, these guys got a nice future ahead of them. Tracklist include Steve Aoki, Siege, Dada Life, R3hab, Gregori Klosman and many more.

Also I was quite happy to discover that Cold Blank started a weekly radio show this year, with a guestmix each week. This is the 3rd edition with JELO being the guest time, and it's huge, so electro fans, don't miss out this one!

Oh, and one more thing: I advise you to visit the Budapest Bonkers Facebook wall @ http://www.facebook.com/budapestbonkers aswell, there's a bunch of free tunes there every day, for example Dunjinz, Valy Mo, The Squatters and R3hab for today.
