First up, here are 2 previews from Milan Masters, Reset! and their new single called "Don't Let The System Control You". Dada Life started to put up some new remixes to their recent monster, "Happy Violence", there's a free one by Caveat, and here's a preview from Russian Swanky Tunes' remix and their usual Swedish House Mafia sound, I'm sure that we'll hear this one a lot in the next months. Thank God, they didn't really use the vocals

Now up to some MOOMBAH! Que Serock produced a new track and they thought that why can't we give this out for free...and so they did. "Doin' It" is a proper dutch sounding moombahton track, nice, free, danceable - grab it!

BPB Party Planner: Kollektiva Klub /w Slap in the Bass (10-27, Thursday)

Yea, a long weekend is coming, so it's never too early to start party planning in Budapest. You don't have to wait till Friday, since this week the Kollektíva crew brings a really well-known guest to their weekly clubnight, one of BPB Favorites aswell, Slap in the Bass!

The duo is one of the main imports of the Hungarian electronic music scene, producing and remixing for labels such as No Brainer, Southern Fried, Wearhouse Music, Top Billin and many more. Their recent hit Egypt was a blast over the dancefloors during the summer, while the remix for Crookers' Dushi also made the Beatport Top 10 in Electronica. They're working on a load of new tracks and remixes, so I'm sure they gonna play some of their new stuff too. Anyway, if you've got no idea of what will they play, check out this mix for the No Brainer Podcast, and get yourself to Corvintető on Thursday night!

Here's the party info:

Huge roundup for Tuesday

Hey! Well I know, today's big shot is the Duck Sauce video, which is insane, but let's look at some other hot stuff, there's a lot to come!

As a warmup, here's a new track from upcoming Hungarian nudisco-duo NakedKool, called "Let Go", this one brings you back to those sunny days in the 90s, absolutely oldschool, but still great! Hopefully there'll be a release for this soon, until then, throw some likes on Facebook to the artists!
NakedKool - Let Go by NakedKool

Will Bailey is becoming a resident here soon, but what can I do if he just throwing out nice free remixes nearly every second day. This time the "victim" is Mad Decent boss Diplo's track "Horsey" which got a nice dutch treatment, proper peaktime banger, check it out!

Here's some electro stuff for you, Swedish F.O.O.L. celebrate their 15 000 fans on Facebook with a free track, called "The Beginning". Usual quality, nice intro, nice bassline, what else do you need?
F.O.O.L - The Beginning (Original Mix) by FuckOurOrdinaryLives

I'm not so fond of short previews on Soundcloud, therefore Lektroluv, one of my favorite labels were so generous to preview the forthcoming remix EP for Sound of Stereo in full length. My favorite is the Loops of Fury remix of "Diamond", but there are some nice stuff from TWR72, Errorism, Van Toth, John Roman and Wax Motif & Neoteric, so everyone will find a remix here.
Sound Of Stereo - Mineral - The Remixes by lektroluvrecords

A remix package come out on Boxon on 21st November, including this killer track by Lazy Rich for Dilemn's "Don't Break It". There'll be some huge remixes from Fukkk Offf, Blatta & Inesha and many more, it's gonna be a massive release, which already gained support from the big names.

Tracks N Mixes for Monday

Well since I awfully hate Mondays, here's something that might make it better. New releases, new free tracks and mixes. Hmm. now it's better!

After the success of his Ready to Stomp EP on Funkatech, Far Too Loud releases yet another electro house banger, this time on Bazooka Records. Pure peaktime stuff, and also a great track to start the week!
Far Too Loud - Megaloud [Out Now] by Far Too Loud

Will Bailey's Simma Records is on fire aswell, 2 remixes are being released by Nick Thayer and Eigo of label boss' track "Warhead". My choice is Thayer's remix, huge moombahton madness, taking the original to another tempo but still keeping the raw energy in it, real quality track!
WILL BAILEY - WARHEAD [NICK THAYER REMIX] [SIMMA RECORDS] ***OUT TODAY*** by Will Bailey

Here's a double pack from Tim Healey's Surfer Rosa label. Slice N Dice make their debut on the label, with the dancefloor burner "Robots Like to Have Sex" which destroys everything right after the drop. They also made a DJ mix with some banging electro house and dirty dutch tracks to promote the release, so here they are!

Bonus: Italian duo, The Boomzers are ready to deliver a really hard-hitting EP on Freakz Me Out Records called "We Are Back". Stomping hard electro at its best, including a huuuuge remix from the StereoHeroes and The S - plus as a "b-side" another Boomzers track, called "To Destroy All". The EP is due on 17th November, till then, here are the previews:

First up is Belgian DJ/producer Modek's mix for Switch Radio, quite eclectic but quality music all over, including the Para One remix of the latest Justice single, tracks from NT89, Julio Bashmore, Birdy Nam Nam plus his latest remix for Malente & Zero Cash (which I play a lot too :P).

Let's check some tunes aswell. Although this is not a freebie, I think it worth a listening. Nudisco legends, Peter & The Magician put up their newest remix to Soundcloud. This is the second time this year, when they're remixing for Yuksek, and the result is just as good as the first one. Listen!

Skream's having such a great time at his North American tour, that he decided to give away this free remix of him, made for Delphic's "This Momentary".

Disco Disco Good Good

OK, let's start out this weekend. I've got 2 magical sets for you, for sipping drinks, sitting by the pool and shakin' your ass in the meantime (sounds sucky in this cold weather though, but don't care).

First up, here's BPB Favorite, Kollektiva head honcho TMX's new set. This mix is a lucky accident, he didn't mean to record one but somehow it turned out to be a recorded practice, and the result is great. Pumping nudisco, electro, house - whatever you call it, it makes you move and that's the point. No tracklist so far, but hopefully there'll be some soon. Until then, just keep movin' those butts.

The other mix is also pure pleasure. It was a submission to us by Orlando-based DJ, Jesse Mathews (so keep those tracks & mixes sending kids!). Laidback disco vibes, nice summer feeling - which we miss a lot right now. This one will definately bring back those sunny days, with tracks from Toomy Disco, Lovebirds, etc. Show some love to Jesse on SOUNDCLOUD
Flip-flop Tan Lines by Jesse Mathews

BPB Recommend: The Sneekers - Modern Pleasure EP

BPB got the pleasure to introduce You the newest release on German GND Records - the label had a track on BPB earlier, remember that awesome Faisal remix HERE? This time it's Vilnius/London-based producing duo The Sneekers come up with 3 stellar tracks, that we can't miss! Let's see!

Poly Poly is the great deal here, gaining huge support, it featured on BBC Radio's Kissy Klub, and it's huge. Haunting bassline, nice breakdowns, vocal chops saying "Poly Poly", while you can't decide to shake your ass or just jump around. Floorfiller! Modern Pleasure is the favorite for me, out of the 3 tracks. Its kinda similar to Poly Poly with those basslines and the vocals, but the cheeky disco feeling that comes in brings to another level, I will play this one a lot for sure. Eahh is the third one here, boysnoizish track, nice breakdown, than a huge drop - love it too!
A few names who support these tracks: Kissy Sell Out, Fake Blood, Congorock, Ado, Rynecologist, Modek etc., just too much to name them.
All in all I think it's a really massive EP, 3 quality tracks, worth its price. Take a listen:

BPB Party Planner: Future Music /w Document One (10-22, Saturday)

And the party machine rolls on. BPB's pick for Saturday is none else than the Document One guys playing at Corvintető. That is definately a can't miss thingy, cause this will be their Hungarian debut, and I bet that it will be really massive. They also provided the best warmup to it, by posting their Buygore 2011 Mix earlier today, filled with party monsters - 26 tracks in 53 minutes. Just listen:
Document One's Buygore 2011 mix by Buygore

You also have to check out the Future Music residents, the Dublic twins are creating a huge stir in the Budapest nightlife, eclectic banging sets with great mixing, their Autumn promo is also a pleasure:
Dublic - The Autumn Shock by Dublic

And don't forget DJ Palotai, a well-known name to foreigners aswell, for Hungarians he's just simply The DJ. Here come his mix for this week, played on Tilos Radio.

BPB Party Planner: Normafa Goes to Cinema (10/21, Friday)

Since this is not just a music blog, but BPB's goal is to give You advice on where to roll in Budapest every weekend, it's time to start this....21th October marks the next date of the famous Normafa Party Series. However it's a bit chilly out there (or should I say it's fucking very cold), so this time it'll be hosted in Cinema Hall. The main concept of the party is that there are 5 stages with different genres of electronic (however last time we wind up at 3 stages playing dubstep, but nevermind...), so everyone will find a stage that fits his or her needs. BPB's favorite is usually the electro stage, but the all of them are super fun!
Lineup:
DRUM&BASS: Nismo, Klay, Siet, Weide, SP, Jade, L.A.S., Spytech, Endor
GOA: Erix, Hruscsov, Sasa, Snag (Fractal.fm Crew)
BREAKBEAT: Dublic, Wondawulf, Psyon, Pryus, Kebab
HOUSE&TECHNO: Nathan P, Bergi, Tempo!
ELECTRO: ManipulatorDJs, John The Valiant, Mark Cortese, 0.5 Kilo, No Coco Jumbo
Entrance fee is 1000HUF till 23:00, 1500 later.

Also here is a warmup mix for the party, it's became a tradition for me to do one before every Normafa Event, so there's no exception this time even though it's not an outdoor event.

Check out the mix & don't miss the parteeee!

Free Track Roundup #4

Here we go again, free tracks for a dark, autumn Thursday, just to cheer you up - it's nearly weekend.

First up, here's Los Angeles-based duo, Dskotek's new free track, called "Murder Ride" - another great Halloween track. The start of the track features some haunting effects, before the drop comes with a heavy bassline, nearly trash-electroish, really nice peak-timer. Grab it!
DSKOTEK - Murder Ride by DSKOTEK

Next one is a gift from Russian Mako Records. Polymorphic released this track, "Underground Bass", back in September and it caused a huge stir. Now here comes a really hard electro remix from the Trashing Teenagers. BANG!
FREE DOWNLOAD | Polymorphic - Underground Bass ( Trashing Teenagers Remix ) by Mako Records

Staying at the harder tracks, but getting into the techno direction. Turbo put up this remix yesterday to Soundcloud, Jon Convex's treatment of the long-awaited ZZT track, "Partys over Los Angeles". Definately worth a mention!
ZZT - Partys Over Los Angeles (Jon Convex Remix) by Turbo Recordings

+1: We slap one more here, and it's not an easy one. Don Diablo posted a new remix of Justice's Helix. And it's great: disco-electro action at its best, it'll be a gem for this weekend! Watch Out!
Justice - Helix (Don Diablo Remix) by Don Diablo

That's it for now, but stay tuned, a lot more to come today!

Some evil stuff for tonight: Mendez & Sluggo + Kisbeat & Chemical

thanks for the photo to Krisztian Bodis Photography

It's quite foggy here, so I'm gonna hook you up with some nasty evil bangers, electro and moombahcore on the menu right now.

Since Calvin Harris released the acapella of his summer hit "Bounce", there are remixes keep popping up everywhere. This time Italian duo from Sidechain Massacre Crew,  Kisbeat & Chemical gave it an electro treatment which turned out to by pretty pretty good. You can download the tune from the artists' Facebook Page, there are also many more free downloads there, so I think it really worth it!
Calvin Harris- Bounce (Kisbeat!&Chemical rmx) [download link in description]if u like it put a <3 by Kisbeat!&Chemical

The other tune is really vicious one. El Cuco head honcho Frank Mendez teamed up with Sluggo to release this moombahcore beast a few weeks ago. I think it worth the post, you won't get darker stuff out there for sure!
Mendez & Sluggo - The Devil Does Drugs by El Cuco Recordings

Cheers!

BPB Recommend: Pirupa - Pirupa EP

Time to get more housy & techy! Wednesday marks the release date of Pirupa's three new tracks on Riva Starr's label Snatch! Records. The Italian producer nailed it again. Serious business here!

Money is a total dancefloor destroyer, great disco effects on a well-programmed house beat and it seems to be a deadly combo. Kinda reminds me an old tune by The Rasmus (no, not the weeping Finnish band) called "Hollywood" - it was released on a Swedish independent label, nevermind. This is the main deal here, essential for house DJs!
SNATCH022 01. Money (Original Mix) - Pirupa Snatch022 (96kbps snip) by Snatch! Records

Get My Love is a much more laidback track, usual quality by Pirupa though. Solid, pumpin' house beats with a female vocal sample, great for warmups - really nice one!
SNATCH022 02. Get My Love (Original Mix) - Pirupa Snatch022 (96kbps snip) by Snatch! Records

Third track, Break Mambo, loyal to his name drops the 4/4 beat and brings in some beats with great latino-mambo samples - I would smash it in a moombahton set. That's a definite ass-shaker!
SNATCH022 03. Break Mambo (Original Mix) - Pirupa Snatch022 (96kbps snip) by Snatch! Records

It's really hard to pick one out of the three, since all 3 tracks are really well-produced, they present different moods - all in all, I choose "Money", but the whole release worth its price so BUY IT HERE!

BPB Recommend: Futuristic Polar Bears & Danny Howard - One Night in Amsterdam EP

Time for some recommendations again! British label Polar Bear Music laid a huge sampler for the forthcoming (actually it started today) ADE. The impring already hosted artists like Dirty Secretz or Hayley Parsons, but this head honchos Futuristic Polar Bears team up with BBC Radio 1's Superstar DJ competition winner, Danny Howard for a double house banger.

Drop The Beat is a massive banger, especially after the drop - huge ass-shaking. The beat kinda reminds me last year's huge Ibiza floorfiller, Sweet Devil by Pirupa. The breakdown introduces some nice synth sounds aswell, I think this one will find its way to the bags of house and electro DJs. Pure pleasure!
FUTURISTIC POLAR BEARS & DANNY HOWARD FT PRYCE OLIVER - DROP THE BEAT - ONE NIGHT IN AMSTERDAM EP by FUTURISTICPOLARBEARS

Next one called Red Man Rising, designed for the mainrooms too. Honestly, this is my pick from the package - it's more airy than Drop The Beat, some short melodies chopped in there - till you get back to the beat and the flow starts again. This one will make you move for sure!
FUTURISTIC POLAR BEARS & DANNY HOWARD - RED MAN RISING - ONE NIGHT IN AMSTERDAM EP - 160 RES by FUTURISTICPOLARBEARS

Both tracks already gained massive support from David Guetta, M.I.K.E., Umek, Olav Basoski, Sonny Wharton and many many more!

Free Track Roundup #3: Already Halloween

I'm gonna hook you up with another package of wonderful free tracks, also some specials to pimp your Halloween party!

First, here's a freebie from Sweden's Albin Myers, a bootleg of the soundtrack of John Carpenter's legendary horror movie. Pure evil, chunky electro house at its best!
Albin Myers - Halloween (Free Download) by albinmyers

BPB Favorite, Figure posted this one yesterday, called "This is Halloween". Quite similar to his tracks on both volumes of Monsters EP, but still good. Evil wobblin' dubstep, as usual - already reached nearly 1500 downloads!
Figure - This is Halloween by Figure

Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries made some nice bootlegs over the last times, but this one is my favorite. It is also quite fresh, so I'm sure it will help them in their ADE takeover!
Switch & Andrea Martin - I Still Love You [Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries 'ADE Takeover' Bootleg] by tommiesunshine

And there's still more! Alex Mind refixed the electro classic "Not Exactly" made by Mr. Deadmau5 originally. I have to say you'll hear this refix really soon again on this blog!
Deadmau5 - Not Exactly (Alex Mind Re-fix) by Alex Mind

Don't forget that you can check out these tunes on the Budapest Bonkers YouTube Channel!

Stay tuned, there's a lot more to come today! :)

Free Track Roundup! #2

Time for another pack of free tracks! The producers out there are simply just too kind to us, so much good tracks for free!

Let's start this with a new bootleg by Will Bailey, this time he's respraying Axwell's timeless classic "I Found U". Usual quality from Will, banging Dutch sounds, loads of vocals, plus a free WAV download. Do we need anything more?
AXWELL - I FOUND U [WILL BAILEY 2011 BOOTLEG] ***FREE DOWNLOAD*** [WAV] by Will Bailey

Let's stay with the Dutch! ClubbJunky did a bootleg of Niggas' in Paris. Pretty banging, heh.
Jay-Z ft Kanye West & Fatman Scoop - Niggas In Paris (ClubbJunky Dutch House Bootleg) by ClubbJunky

One more from Kovary, who made a "moombahdisco" (is there a genre like this?) remix of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?". Do Ya?
Rod Stewart - Do ya think I'm sexy (Kovary moombahton bootleg) by Kovary

If you like the posts, please go to the BPB Facebook Page and send us some love! :)

+1: Dirty Disco Youth & Duo Synchron released a free track today too, called "Want Ya So Bad", well you better want this track so bad aswell, kinda chilly but still great for a warmup. Like it!

BPB Recommend: Jay Robinson - Dig The Nu Breed EP

It's Monday, and you know there's one thing that's good about it: new releases everywhere. So I want you to meet this little monster EP, called Dig The Nu Breed by Jay Robinson - released on Krafty Kuts' imprint, Instant Vibe. 3 tracks, 3 different styles, but still each of them is perfect to fulfill the needs.

First up is Positive Vibes which has a wonderful breakdown, some nice breaks in there but after the drop it immediately turns into a hard, bass-driven electro monster with some dutch elements before going back to airy synths again - just rip off your head again. Believe in the Hype is kinda different, though airy breakdown is essential here aswell, but the drop with it's oldschool garage-sounding bass is a massive ass-shaker, perfect floorfiller for peaktime - no doubt, that this is my favorite of the three tracks. I Need Bass says goodbye to good old 4/4 as Jay present us a massive dubstep track to close out this great EP, which I think is a must-buy for all those bass music DJs. Check them out!

Mixes & tracks for Sunday evening

still using the great works of Krisztian Bodis Photography

Hope You had a nice weekend, but it's still not over! I offer You 2 great mixes, different moods though so You can select if You want some bangers or just chillers.

BBC Radio 1 aired a gorgeous Essential mix Friday put together by SBTRKT. I have to say that both the track selection and the mixing is awesome. The mix includes tracks by Lone, Djedjotronic, Radiohead, Roni Size, Hudson Mohawke and of course, the man himself, SBTRKT - just to name a few. Also some great vocal work by Sampha on some of those tracks. All in all, very eclectic, quality music!

The other mix is a whole different business. If you didn't have enough partying for the weekend, Resident DJ of Budapest's biggest electro-dubstep party series, Thrasher Party's own B'Andre provides smashing 40 minutes with the 6th volume of his Dub & Step mix series. Banging beats from the first minute till the last, filthy dubstep, drumstep and even a bit of DnB. Check it out!

Now over to the tracks. UK producers The Squatters teamed up with Rob Tissera to make a peak-time breakbeat monster called Sanctuary. They put it up to Soundcloud for listening, though when we reach 3000 listenings, we get a free download. Can't wait it!

Still one more to go, German label GND Records offered a free remix of Skyve - Like This, made by Faisal. Nice production, perfect for some lazier sets, so don't be surprised if it pops up in next week's BPB Podcast!

Bird Peterson - Hormones

Well, it wasn't really planned but Bird Peterson's new offering is a must. This jackin' beauty is a freebie on Mr. Peterson's soundcloud, though it will be the first release on the BP Americo label. Quite a promo, I'm sure that there will be some buzz around the imprint! Some serious ass-shaking business here, and wait till you hear the Krafty Kuts version. This thing is on fire, so drop it slowly!

Cheers, have some fun on a Friday night!

Can you stay up for the weekend?

Thanks for the photo to Krisztian Bodis Photography

Yay it's weekend again! Hopefully you're not as sad as Calvin, who thinks he's alone. Here comes a little help, to fresh yourself up and get ready for partying or whatever you gonna do in the next 2 days (besides sitting on a couch at home - that's not tolerated).

First, here's a banging 1-hour mix from dubstep legends, Skream & Benga, their monthly show on BBC Radio 1. Full of cracking new tracks and remixes by Nero, Doctor P, El Hornet, 12th Planet etc.

Next up is the usual Thursday night madness, provided by Kissy Sell Out or erm....actually it's Jaguar Skills & Friends this week, cause they're fillin' in for Kissy for a 2-hour mashup mix. It's so mashed up, that there's no tracklist to it, but believe me, it worth the listening!

And one more. Mr. Will Bailey was kind enough to provide a moombahton bootleg today morning for Excision & Datsik's tune, "Swagga", so this one's for you, ass-shakers!

BPB Recommend: NOOB - Spell EP

I've got to introduce you one of my favorite records for this month. Heard it first time in a Jaymo & Andy George BBC mix, and as label manager Teki Latex mentioned, that this will be a big one, well, it is.

French producer, NOOB's Spell EP released this Monday on the famous Sound Pellegrino label, and it took over the floors in a second. The original mix is one hell of a track, great atmosphere, great buildup, setting the mood during a warmup, but also useful on peaktime aswell. The Zhao Remix delivered by the French youngster takes the track to a deeper and darker apporach, a much more oldschool sound for me, some acid flicks in there. One more remix in the package, this one's from Maelstrom, still taking you to the next level, by using more of the vocals and the vibes from the original mix, plus adding some extra percussion, useful in tech-house/house sets imho. And there's still to come. Noob delivered one more track for the EP, called Protein, a chunky, evil, peak-time banger with some great effects and programming- can't wait to see if there are remixes for this one in the Sound Pellegrino lab. For me it's quite clear that the 2 original tracks do the job, and the French label release a masterpiece...again.

Massive support from the likes of Erol Alkan, Laurent Garnier, Alex Metric, Crookers, Zombie Nation etc., it would take a while to name all of them. Anyway, enough with the talk, check the tunes yourself and buy them HERE if you liked 'em!

Stay tuned, 'cause there's more to come on such a wonderful Friday! :)

Free Track Roundup!

Okay, here are a few tracks I discovered yesterday and they totally FREE, so we want harm anyone by listening to them or downloading them or whatever. Let's Go

First, as a Family Guy addict, bird is the word for me. I'm kinda surprised by the fact the no one did a bootleg or a remix of The Trashmen's Surfin' Bird track. Well, not so long ago Drop The Lime did one, and he was kind enough to share it.

One more to go! I've discovered this great remix yesterday, while browsing the Erol Alkan forums. Supa Crush made a banging new remix of Clouds' "Sucker" track, which was released earlier this year on Turbo. What else can I say? Massive bass, great sounds, nice buildup, I think Supa Crush is a name to watch out for in the next months!
